Wow. How did it get to be April already? It seems as if March flew by with nothing but a cursory glance in my direction.
For me, April has brought a fresh start on a new project. This month I’m working on a new first draft that I’m very excited about. (Duh. I wouldn’t write it if I wasn’t excited about it.) It’s a story that I’ve been mulling over how to piece together for a while now (one of them anyway), and it finally came together in a flash of brilliance.
Ha. Yeah. That’s what we’ll call it.
I’ve got a complete synopsis and a rough outline, and I’m ready to roll. Not sure if I’ll go for the infamous book-in-a-month approach this time. Though maybe I should. To not lose steam. Hmmm.
So tell me, what is April bringing for you this year? Is anybody else drafting?

I’m so excited to start a new project, too! It feels so good after revising for SOOOO long. I’m hoping to have a first draft done by the end of May–and then I’ll let the lovely ladies of Weekend of Awesome tear it apart for me.

Hooray!! It does feel so good to restart the cycle. Then it’ll feel great to revise, and on it will go.
Can’t wait to hear about your project!

YAY! New projects are awesome–I can’t wait to see/hear about what you’re working on, now! I’m also starting a new project, which I can’t wait to do. Unfortunately, I think I may have some more revisions to do for my agent, but after that I can’t wait to delve into the newness of the new stuff!
